A refreshed OpenWA dashboard, with call controls that follow you

Updated tables and detail sheets accompany a Calls page and a persistent call control across dashboard navigation.

The 5.5 dashboard brings the calling workflow into the same interface as chats and session management. Refreshed tables and detail sheets help operators inspect records, while a persistent call control lets them keep a conversation in view as they move between pages.

Open Calls at /dashboard/calls on your Easy API address. Choose a contact, an audio source and a receive sink. The bundled greeting offers a quick way to try an audio source without selecting a local file; Record received audio offers a download after the call ends. Incoming calls have Answer and Reject actions, and the Chat header can start a call to that conversation.

Navigate without losing the controls

The compact control shows ringing, connection progress and connected time. Expand it to answer, reject, mute or end the call from any dashboard page. Navigation preserves the active call, settings and completed recording. Reloading the browser closes its media attachment, so a full reload has a different effect from changing dashboard pages.

Local dashboard files, microphone and speaker belong to the dashboard's browser. A file selected there doesn't need to be copied onto the API server. Microphone access still requires browser permission and working devices. HTTP audio sources used in that browser need CORS access.

Calling is the licensed audio preview. Video offers can be labelled and answered with audio; camera transmission and received-video playback aren't available in this dashboard yet. The licence menu shows session feature access, and refresh controls expose progress while the WhatsApp page reloads.

Start with the calling guide for an end-to-end workflow, or session refresh for patch and licence operations.
